    Knee pain
I've always had slight knee pain every once in a while but recently I've developed a sharp pain under my knee cap. The pain comes with extending my leg. Skiing is a probable cause. Walking upstairs often hurts. What are some probable causes/treatments?

undue stress on your knee cap from over indulging in skiing and ignoring the pain when it happens. Visit your doctor, ask for x rays, have it fixed. It means downtime, but if you want to have it corrected, you will have to go through physical therapy to recupe.
