How do I remove a bumble bee nest (small variety) from my compost heap?

A small variety of bumble bee? That's a description I have not come across before. Would they happen to resemble a smooth honeybee?

Sure it's not a Yellow Jacket, they ground nest. Slimmer than honey bees, predominantly yellow. "Bumble Bees" are mostly black. Yellow Jackets look like Catsmine's post

We first noticed this issue last year. After several weeks of effort (multiple visits by Frontline, covering with tarps, etc.) they finally went away, shortly after I sprayed ammonia into their holes in the evening. I'm not sure if the ammonia did it, if the Frontline treatments finally worked,...
They go in through a little hole in the side of the house since the cement is chipped and the hole there just hoes straight down

I have a wasp nest in my horsde field. It has lots of holes going into it. I have poured petrol down some holes and set fire to them - getting rid of some, but there are still quite a few about and hae foud another hole. What is the best way to get rid of them.
