Infested with Fleas, and I don't have pets!
I had two kittens for 3 months, the first month, was fine, then we ( my wife and I ) noticed a few fleas, well we tried everything, now we are infested! We decide to find them another home, because we are expecting. So my question is after 3 weeks of not having pets we still have fleas in the house. We 've vaccumed, washed cleaned and scrubbed. What do I do? They are even in my truck! What is keeping them a live? Help?

After vacuuming, immediately remove the vacuum bag and seal it in a plastic bag.

This bag can then be put into the freezer to kill any fleas and be reused later.

Use 20 Mule Team Borax all throughout your home where you have carpeting. It's cheap and the fleas eat it and die. You can use in your truck carpeting as well. You can use anywhere in the house without worrying about toxic chemicals and their adverse effects. I lived in Florida where I had tenants who would move out. These tenants had dogs with fleas. The apt was so flea infested in a short time it was not funny until I discovered the borax. The minute a tenant would move I'd be over there with the boarx. You sprinkle or spread it around the carpet with your hand and mash it in with a sweeping motion of your foot. Then in a few days vacuum up all the borax and do the treatment again. After the second vacuuming of the carpet you should be flea free since you don't have any pets where they can jump on and hide. You can also do your furniture safely with borax. I would stay away from pest sprays as they are not good for pregnant women. Borax is a natural element and is safe - provided she does not eat handfulls of it.
