    How do I get rid of chicken mites in my car?
    How do I get rid of chicken mites in my car? I have tried RID, Green Raid and Black Raid. I vacuumed after these treatments. I still get bit several times every time I get in the car.
    Please help.

    From your username I assume it would be impractical to leave your car in a freezing environment for 72 hours, which is the surest way I know to get mites out of cracks, crevices, and fabrics.

    A deep detail of your car with professional grade disinfectants and upholstery shampoos will reduce the numbers better than just vacuuming. Continue using the pesticides with Growth Regulators to break up the life cycle of the mites. Finding pesticides with Growth Regulators normally means looking at flea control products.

    Above all, do not let your car get re-infested by driving to the chicken yard or carrying the chickens or their feathers.
