I have cock roaches can I get out of my lease?
I moved into my house in Northeast Philadelphia back in October with my fiancé and daughter and I am also pregnant with my second cild. A few weeks after moving in we noticed a roach problem we call the landlord and he acted surprised as if he didn't know and called an exterminator. When the exterminator came out he greeted me and said "Let me guess lots of roaches?" when I said yes he informed me had been spraying this house 2 years prior to me moving in which let me know the landlord was fully aware of the problem. Here we are and its almost April and despite monthly sprays we still have the problem. At times it will seem like the sprays are helping and then out of no where the bugs are back full force! Recently Ive been waking up with bites on my arms I thought it was mosquito bites but it started to be too many.. I Had my bed inspected for bed bugs come to find out there is german roaches between my be and box spring and they have been what is biting me. I am 8 months pregnant and german roaches are dirty I can not be getting bit nor do I want to brin my unborn chid in this situation or put my 7 yr old at risk. I just feel like I'm trapped in my lease. What can I do?

Have you discussed this with another bug company ? Is there trash or litter issues.

What chemicals are being used, it is hard to believe that after 6 months they have not at least made it a lot better.

I got in touch with the realestate agency who recently took over they said they are going to talk to my landlord about switching over to another exterminator. They agreed terminex isn't aggressiv enough especially since they have been spraying since the previous tenants lived there. No there is no trash or liter in my house the roaches simply came with the property. Its hard to fully get rid of them when you live in a row home and neighbors on eithier side of you don't seem as concerned about their roach issue as we are.my landlord has actually called the health department on my one neighbor but no progress has been made on that matter. We originally started with 2 different kinds of roaches in the house and the spraying seemed to do a good job on the on kind but the other kind are light brown and just won't stay away. But hopefully they will be able to get rid of this problem beings I am having a baby in the next 4 weeks.
