    First thing to do is identify what kind you have. Bird mites are relatively easy, just remove the abandoned bird or rat nest. Chigger mites and ticks aren't very hard, usually all you need to do is cut back the bushes around the home. Dust mites are more complicated; getting rid of them involves deep cleaning and air filtration. Bed bugs require professional help.
