Help me!! I'm 18 and I want to move out.
I'm 18 and currently love in Illinois I want to move to New York ( upstate not city) I have a job and housing there already and friends and family, but my mom doesn't want me to move out we are a fairly conservative family, but I'm not going to stop believing in god or anything just because I'm moving out and I'm not the kind of girl who will go out and party. I love my mom and don't want to ruin our relationship but I really want to go. What should I do?

I'm from NY. Where would you be headed?

It sounds like you have done all the prep work. She should be proud of you! I say go for it!

    Hello W:

You're an adult. She can't MAKE you stay. You're going to have to leave SOMETIME, and she probably won't want you to go then.

If you DON'T go, it's going to cause problems with your mom.
