    Employer holds check after a mistake in payroll?
    My employer shorted me 24 hours on my check. Can he make me wait until the next pay period to get the 24 hours paid/ can he do that?

    Depends on where you live at. While they should not, it is not uncommon for this to happen.

    The first issue is whose fault, who did not enter the correct time on time sheets, pay and so on
