What are salary laws in Missouri?
    Hello,

Is it legal for a business (even a non-profit) to pay any amount to a salaried employee? I.e. I work 40 hours a week and make $1000 /month - calculated out that's $6.25/hour which is less than minimum hourly wage.

There are some exceptions to minimum wage laws. MO minimum wage info can be found here:

    Missouri Labor | Minimum Wage

Because a non-profit may fall into the service business grossing less than $500,000 it may be exempt form the Minimum Wage law
