    If you deducted most of the year what does that make you
    If my employer has taken taxes of for majoriuty of the year but didn't take taxes of for 3 months or so does that make me an employe or independent contractor

    You are either one or the other, you know that from how you were hired.
    If you are an employee you get a W2, a contract worker gets a 1099 not a W2
