    I wonder if I should send my son to Camp Summitt?
    My troubled son is addicted to cough syrup, steals, and is very depressed. Bi-Polar or In my opinion, Borderline Personality Disorder. He has three felonies, he is 16 years old, and nearly flunking out of school. We're going to court for two more charges in March. I really don't want to see him go to Boy School, so I was thinking about Camp Summitt in LaPorte, Indiana. It's a boot camp program for troubled teens...

    Is he under psychiatric care? If not, I'd start there. Many of these so-called boot camps do more harm than good.

    Yes, he is under psychiatric care and has been going to therapy. He got arrested tonight, so I guess it really is out of my hands, now. I plan to ask the Judge to recommend that boot camp, though. After reading about it online, it seems like what he needs...
