    Sound keeps dropping out
Hi, I have a bit of a weird thing happening to my computer. When I go to play songs in itunes it plays for about 10sec then stops. If you leave the program running as it is it will come back in about half an hour later then stop again. Also when you are playing games like solitaire, after a couple of minutes the sound gets delayed (out of sync). I have tried different speakers and it does the same thing on all speakers so that rules them out. It sounds like a driver/software issue. I have installed the latest sound drivers and that didn't make a diference. Any ideas? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

Are you using onbaord or aftermarket sound card/chip?

    Hi

It is onboard sound. The computer was purchased in February and was working fine up until 2 weeks ago.

Try looking into an aftermarket sound card... they offer better performance and clarity unless you have a HIGH END sound chip... also try defragging your system... when the system is all mixed up the sound on mine use to be a problem... good luck
