Why is my house a portal
I've always been aware that spirits have been present in my home since I moved there six yyears ago.my daughter was the first person to witness what we call spirits.as time has gone on more and more srange things have happened.the most bizarre one was one night about 11.15pm I went into my kitchen to sort my drying out in the dryer cupboard but as I approached the cupboard I could hear what I thought to be a little girl crying in distress for her mother.knowing there was no children out in our street and no explanation for what I heard I went back into the living room where my daughter was fast asleep on the sofa and had been for the past hour or so.to be honest I was abit scared.a few minutes afterwards there was a knock at my living room window.as scared I was iwent to the window to find my neighbour who lives two doors away.she firstly asked if I was OK because she believed she had heard my daughter crying in the back garden because she couldn't find me.I explained that she had been asleep ages on the sofa.neither of us could work out this strange occurrence and to this day my neighbour will not talk about it.I have been later told that my home is a portal,a passing through place for lost spirits etc.what I would like to know is why did they choose my home for this?

For those that believe in spirits and the such, it would be assumeed that they believe they have some right to be there by previous invitation, prior life there.

If you are religiouis, you have your home blessed and sealed from this activity.

    Hello,
I am 15 and you might not think I know what I'm talking about but I do. Well sometimes spirits choose older houses to haunt or to pass through for various reasons. If there usually isn't a lot of commotion in your house and it's normally quiet then it is easier for them to pass through a calm environment rather then a stressful, loud one. The child might have passed through because she/he might have felt a mothers presence and felt safe. If you don't usually have a lot of lights on it is easier for them to move on also. Most of the time other spirits can sense each other so they feel that this is where they are supposed to pass also. Sometimes there isn't a logical answer for every time a spirit pass they just know what they have to do and do it. If they linger in your house then they probably have more to finish in their life and don't want to move on yet. Hope I could help best of luck!
p.s. if it bothers you a lot get your house blessed. Need more advise send me a message.

As humans, we think in human terms. Spirit can be anywhere and they are. It doesn't need to be day or night. It doesn't need to be in a home. It could be a vehicle, a piece of furniture, and so on that spirit has attached themselves to. We think of portals as a 'place.' You can also create a portal by intention. That being said, you can close a portal by intention, as well. This could look like anything you would believe it could look like. It something is 'true' for you, then that is your belief. You can use sage, light a white candle, use angel incense, etc. Those are the things I've used. You can say "You are forgiven." That sometimes helps. I think most spirit are asking for guidance and if they are coming to you, then there is something about you that seems like you may listen. They see us as energy forms that we may not be able to see; aura. Believe that you can say, "Leave me alone. Go into the light. You are forgiven" - something to that affect.
