    Why does my TV turn on randomly?
    Is it a ghost? It turned on when I turn on a specifc artist online. Twice!

    If it happened twice when you did a certain thing it is not random. But I doubt supernatural either.

    If I understand correctly you were online and playing music, and when a certain artist was chosen the TV turned on on two occasions.

    Try it again and see what happens.

    Was anyone else around who may be playing a joke on you?
    Where was the remote for the TV at the time?
    Check the batteries in the remote, low batteries can cause some strange behavior in remotes.

    Keep us informed as you look into this.

    Okay its not the batteries or a prank,the remote was at least 5 feet away from me and my friends at the time.I am trying it again at the moment
