Where do you look if you want to find out if someone has died in your house?
I've lived here since I was born(I'm 14) and I don't know if anyone has died in my house because it was built over 100 years ago

Ask neighbors, especially older ones, check at the local library and historical society museum, county historical museum, church records, county clerk's office for deaths in the county, write to the local newspaper, check with area churches.

I would look on the floor, if they die in the house, normally they are just laying there.
If you are not talking about currently, there is no central record, You look up though old news paper records, look though copies of police reports and anything you can find.
Of course the land has been there much longer, so people may have died or even been buried on that land site.

I am also looking for a answer. Because I have taken some pictures in my house and I've seen a few orbs. And in one picture there is mist. And I can't find any information.

Miranda - we'd love to address your question/issue.. however, the way to do that is to start your own question/thread. That way there is no confusion as to whether whose issue is being addressed. Thank you!

Most newspapers have websites that archive pages. Just click on 'archives' and type the address of your house in the search box. If you get too many unrelated results you can usually do a Boolean search & type the house number & street name in quotes. That should narrow it down.
I've found that most online archives only go back to 25 years or so, unfortunately.
This is how I discovered that a lady was shot to death by a neighbor in my former apartment.
Some newspapers make you pay to see the whole article but the way to get around this is to go to your local library website, login with your library card #, and access their online resources which always include local newspapers.
Good luck!
