    Ghost in a statue?
Hi guys. I will tell you my problem, and please do no hesitate to tell me what do you think. The short story is, my friend came in a possession of a little bird statue that makes noise at 4 o’clock in the morning. Lol

And the long version of this story goes as follows:
My friend’s great grandmother was a well known medium in the place she lived. Her husband presumably got the statue as a gift for his 60th birthday.
Couple of years after he died, my friend’s aunt has seen the statue and asked her grandmother if she can have it. She told answered: “you may, but beware, spirits pass through it”. Now, mind you, after all these years it is unclear, whether she has put it that way exactly.
It took my friend’s aunt a while to connect the strange noises she’s heard from time to time at exactly 4 o’clock in the morning to the statue. But when she did, she would not have it in her house any longer. Her grandma has passed away by then, so her mother took the statue instead, as a reminder of her parents.
She had the bird for a few years without an incident. But then, my friends own mother was charmed by the statue, and she wanted to have it, for a change, not listening to her sisters warnings. She had the statue for a few years and did indeed hear strange noises from time to time. But it was a big house and she did put the statue in the distant bathroom. However, she very often had a nightmare about someone strangling her. And her dog was very afraid to go to the bathroom.
She connected it all to the bird only just recently, when she has left her husband and moved to her own one room apartment. She lived there quite happily until the statue was brought in and the nightmares and strange noises started again. In such a small place it was not hard to locate it and place it at 4 o’clock in the morning!! She was so freaked out that she gave the bird immediately to her daughter, my friend.
Now what I would like to know is, what do you think we are dealing with here? Is is some harmless ghost or something far more dangerous.
Thank you all for your help.

In my opinion no friendly entity would encite nightmares unless there was a serious message to be taken from them. Given the notorious nature of the statue, it's very possible that whatever characteristics the statue possesses have been amplified by the ominous energy created by its owners because of the myth, as some would say.

While there may be friendly entities related to the object, it seems the experiences with the statue have been largely negative. If you're interested in nullifying the negative effects you'll have to get into shielding, construct programming, maybe pendulum magic... after all, this object has some occult roots from the sound of it. I doubt you'll find the whole truth about the statue, but it's always fun to let your imagination run wild and try to learn a little bit more about the irregularities it causes.

You could also Possibly rey a cleansing spell on it, to help get rid of the spirits or any negative energy that might come from it. It could have had a very dark history before even your friends grandmother had gotten it. And if so, I'm sure she could deal with it differently because she was a medium. And if the Dog was scared of it, than more than likely it's bad news. Try a cleansing spell to get rid of the negative energy. If that doesn't work than your friend may just need to distroy it entirely. Such negative things are not good for a healthy lifestyle. Also, get your friend a dream catcher. But really, even if the stature is pretty, I wouldn't keep it.
