Seeing spirits/waking up paralysed
Since a child I have always seen ghosts and spirits, suffered from nightmares and woken up paralysed, either feeling an evil presence or having someone climb on top of me. For the past 3 years I have had a full week of nightmares every month. When this occures I hate going to sleep and try and stay awake for as long as possible, which never happens as I fall asleep at the drop of a hat.
Anyway last night I woke up for no apparent reason, I could sense something at the end of my bed. I peeked out of the duvet and saw the face of a young girl but it was nothing I had ever seen before her face was like as if the moon was shining in a mirror but with no mirror just her face outline. I hide back under the duvet and decided to peek again. The same face was there again but this time she hide from me. At this point I was scared I tried to shout my mum but nothing would come out, but all of a sudden I had the urge to run. I shot up out of bed and ran for the door but what ever it was got angry and threw me back on the bed.
The weird thing is I didn't actually leave the bed it was like I was out my body and as she threw me back on the bed, I returned and she left.
Then an hour later I woke up paralysed I could feel an evil spirit and hear it breathing as it walked closer to me I tried the best to move or open my eyes as I decided to do that, it left.
I really don't know if this was a spirit or not but it did feel as it did when I was a kid. The house was blessed about 4 years ago, but lately I've had a feeling there going to return.
How do you explain this to someone without been classed as mental?

I think you are still asleep when this happens. Two clues are you can't scream or call out, and you were thrown back on your bed but never left the bed. Those are very common in dreams. Most people have dreams that are of them in bed or wherever they actually are, and they seem very, very real.
I don't believe in evil spirits, so that's my view about what is happening. No need to fear people thinking of mental illness when weird dreams are very common. If you'd rather talk to people who do believe in spirits, you can accept this how you wish.

Yes the sleep paralysis is really strange when it happens, you can't seem to yell or do anything. It has happened to me a few times.

Once I half woke up, its was actually kind of cool, I was awake in my room but still saw the images of what I was dreaming. You know what I was dreaming about? Spiders! What was really awesome is when I reached to grab them to see if they were really there and my hand went right through them. It was like some kind of awesome hologram.

OMG! I'v never heard anyone have the same experience that "I" have had since I was a little girl. My last experience was about a month ago. I was sleep/woke but paralysed. I couldn't move and I couldn't open my eyes. I never can open my eyes when this happens - I try and try. I feel something next to me, somebody near. However, this experience was different. I was actually able to bust open my eyes - and when I did, there was a women standing over me looking right at me. When she saw me look at her, it was as though she was shocked that I had caught her - she was nervous. I adjusted my eyes to focus more to take a good look at her and she lifted off me into the ceiling and vanished. I was fully woke!! I was not sleep!! I've never say a person before. I've alway's felt a person near and heard them. Anyone no what the Hell is going on? I really need answers myself and help!! I've had this problem as long as I can remember. Anybody know who I can get in touch with?

OMG!! I've never heard of anyone having the same experience I have had. I've alway's had this problem since I was a little girl - I'm now 36. My last experience was a month ago. I was sleep/woke but paralysed. I couldn't open my eyes. I can never open my eyes when this happens - I mean I try and I try as hard as I can and I can never open my eyes. Normally when this happens, I can feel someone near me. There's a very strong knowing that someone/somebody is next to you. Well, this time I was able to bust open my eyes. When I did, there was a women staring right at me. However, she was shocked that I saw her and backed her head away from mine - like I caught her and she was nervous. I adjusted my eyes to focus more, then she lifted off me up into the ceiling and vanished. I was fully woke!! I was not sleep!! This stuff is real, not a dream!! What the HELL is going on? Can anybody tell me where or who I can see about this?
