Ever since I was little... I felt odd, in a way I thought I was a freak. I could see and feel things others cannot see but I am no psychic. I always feel presence around me and also see things. They do not bother me much but sometimes I am just curious as to why they are always around me. I always smell this different scents and I could tell its someone near me. It's like a smell of smoke but not from burning that is why I do not think it is normal and sometimes flowers or candles. I also always hear them calling my name but not directly talking to me. Am I just paranoid? But I know I'm not crazy because my daugther inherited my gift of sense too. Thanks in advance for the insight.

There are people who seem to be aware of things that others do not see , hear or smell.
As you describe it you may very well be one of those people.
Since it does not seem to be a great bother or scare you, and has been going on all your life, is there anything you wish to do to get rid of it or try to understand it better?

If you could give some detail of an instance or two we may be better equipped to look a little farther into this.

Hello! Thank you for responding... hmmm let me think, I only know that I see them as shadows and hazy smoke, I feel their presence very strongly and most times they do not let me sleep. They or someone would keep me up all night long, getting on the bed and rocking it, or passing me and touching me when I thought its my family. I don't think I want them to go away, I just want to know why they hang around me, I tried talking to them but most time I just hear them calling me by my nickname and not my given name. And that is odd... I had this experience about a great Uncle, he used to live out of the country and I have not seen him for like 15 years. He came to me in a dream telling me he have to go away now and he is finally happy. He hugged me and said I love you ( we were really not that close) then after a few days we got a call and he died. I always dream of relatives that already passed on or people that I know that still is alive but will die suddenly. They give me messages through dreams.=] Sometimes it is scary but most times it's comforting to still see them.

You said that most of the time they do not let you sleep.
Does this mean it happens every night, or quite often?
And you are having trouble getting sleep?

There are shadowy figures that keep you awake, but when you do sleep and dream is when you see passed relatives and find out about people who are about to die.


And you mostly find comfort in this.
Excluding the part about the shadows keeping you awake I will assume.

It is right... I could not say exactly what's keeping me awake but the smell is usually strong during the night. I usually work late and get off late, sometimes I would feel that someone is in the bed with me always moving. But I do not see anyone at all. Its just a feeling I get, it's not scary at all sometimes it's more annoying LOL! But it would be nice to make contact... talk probably, I am really open to anything worldly. Thanks for the insight is is greatly appreaciated.

You said your daughter also inherited this. How old is she and how do you know she has?

How often does this happen to you? Every day, or three to four times a week?
Just a good average is what I would like to know.

Has anyone else been able to see, feel ,or smell any of this?

Do you live with anybody else other than you and your daughter?

Hello again... as to your questions, my daugther is now 11 yrs old. When she was but 2 yrs old she always will point to different directions and sometimes I will hear her talking to someone. Yes, I know you might think it is an imaginary friend. But a good example is my Grandpa died in 1992 and my daughter was born in 1999, she would always say she talks to granpa and sees grandpa when she never met or seen his pictures. And also we have a life size wall painting she see's a lady in white comes out of it during the night (that's why the painting now is in the garage LOL!) it scares her. My son also saw the lady in white a lot of times. The experiences happens a lot of time at home and at work or wherever I go I see and feel things. It became a part of life that it feels more normal than paranormal. Yes, I live w/ my parents... but more so I used to live out of the country where our house is almost 100 yrs old spanish era... so a lot going on there. Maybe one day I will be able to understand the why's... but it is also going to be a comfort to know the reason. Thanks for the reply.

Hi, I'm 12 year old and I can't see or smell but I can sense that someone or something is around me sometimes even feel them. Yes it is scary for me as I am only 12 years of age but I don't tell people about this cause they might think I'm crazy.

Yes , I'm going through the same thing too!! I'm only 14 , but for about 1 year now everywhere I go I feel like a young boy is following me . I'm a christian so I don't think it's a demon . But I feel weird when it happens because its like a pair of eyes on you the whole time . I feel like I can't do the normal things I do like being myself and acting all goofy because of it . I have smelled a very strong flower sent when I was in 6th grade and I was in class , it smelled exactly like my grandpas funeral and his service . It was freaky . I do see lots of shadows and ghosts . But this , this is different . It feels uncomfortable with something staring at you constantly 24/7 and it only goes away when I'm getting dressed or going to the bathroom . Its like it gives me privacy or something .

Why does you being a Christian have anything to do with whether it is a demon or not?
