    Bed Shaking
I've recently been spooked out and cannot figure out what's going on: for the past few months when my partner isn't there, my bed shakes, as if somebody is rocking the bed. This lasts for approx 5 minutes, but has never happened when my partner is in bed. My friend who is a nurse told me I may have a sleeping disorder and that I am actually asleep when this is happening, however, I am definitely awake when this happens, and I remember when my daughter was a few months old in her cot next to my bed (in a different house) I woke one night and her cot was rocking gently, she didn't wake up and it didn't happen again. Throughout my life I have had odd things happen which I believe are paranormal experiences, but can anyone tell me if anyone has heard of this before and how to stop it?

    Hi, ash1095!

Have you ever actually thought that you had seen an apparition of some kind, like a ghost, please?

    Thanks!

    Hello Ash,
It is possible you are experiencing muscle tremors. This is quite common. It can be brought about by many things, some of which are stress, lack of rest, overactive thyroid, vitamin deficiency, even electrolyte imbalance. It may also be inherited. You may also be experiencing hypnagogic myoclonus. This is more common than you might think. Both of these can give the illusion of the bed shaking. Either way I recommend you check this out with your medical professional first, then go from there. Good luck to you.
