    The first thing that comes to mind is that a Principal had to be a teacher first so they have experience at the ground level. A plant manager might have flooor experience in the shop but very frequently does not. Do you know much about either job?

    Go to the library and look through a book called Occupational Outlook Handbook. It will tell you the similarities and the differences. Take notes. Then you will be doing your own homework.
