    Windows 7
    Hello everyone,

First of all I'd like to ask those who have already tried Windows 7 about their opinion.

I am a gamer and I use Windows Vista. I play old games (DOS and older windows versions games). Some of them work well with Vista, some others NOT.

Should I expect more compatibility problems with Windows 7,especially with the old games,or not?

Next, I have a Toshiba Qosmio F50-10K laptop with Vista 32,quite powerful. The problem is that the laptops come with their own Windows which include all the gadget driver the laptop carries (webcam, recognition programs, touch pad drivers,DVD-RW drivers (acoustic silencer),modem drivers etc.).

Is there a Windows 7 version for F50-10K and where can I download it from?

    1. I like Windows 7.

    2. There is an XP compatibility mode that takes care of most compatibility problems. I wouldn't expect very many problems if you're using Vista already.

    3. I don't think your Toshiba is actually using its own version of Windows. I think it's just the drivers that you'll need. You'll most likely be able to find them at the Toshiba site. Have you looked?

I also like Win 7. It is very good on older hardware. And If you get the Professional edition it has the Win XP compatibility.

You can go to Microsoft's site and check the compatibility of your hardware. Also check Toshiba's site for updated drivers.
