    Studio Version 9 - Video Problems
    I have Studio Version 9 video software. Whenever I go to add a video that is NOT from a video camera, but is from i.e. a camera, the software doesn't recognize it. It either will not play the video or not recognize it. I've tried everything!

    I even tried changing the formats ( .avi, mpg), you name it, I've tried it. The original format of the file is .mov which comes up the with real player.

    Is there anything I can do to fix this?

    Thanks in advance

    According to Pinnacle Studio Version 9 spec sheet, the formats that the program can import are:

    * Video: MPEG-1, MPEG-2*, AVI
    * Audio: WAV, MP3
    * Graphic: BMP, JPG, PCT, TGA, TIF, WMF

    You will have to convert your .MOV movies to .AVI before they can be imported. As long as Quicktime is installed on your computer (it shows MOV files), then the following free tool can be used to convert MOV files to AVI.

    You could try a program to convert your .mov files to .avi format

    This program can convert between many formats, personally use it myself

    Magic Video Converter
    Meets all your needs for DVD CD/SVCD burning and video format converting. It can convert and split a wide range of formats such as AVI, MPEG, MPEG 1, MPEG 2, MPEG 4, VCD, DVD, SVCD, RMVB, RM, WMV, MOV, DIVX, etc. The latest version can recognize more formats! It is easy-to-use and only requires 4 steps to convert video files.
    Having integrated more user-friendly rationale in the interfaces, the converting processes are fast and interesting
