    Remove unwanted registry cleaner
I have downloaded a trial registry cleaner and decided not to use it. I have used the add/remove to get rid of it. It still appears in my programs but is not there if clicking on it. It does however come up on the screen every time I turn on my computer. I contacted the company to ask for help but they have not answered.:

It looks like that the software was not uninstalled completely. If you have uninstalled it from the add/remove program then it should have removed the program totally. However,I think that you still have the registry files in your system and they are to be removed. You installed the registry cleaner to clean your registy and the software has left its registry key in your system even after uninstallation. Make sure that no traces of the software is remaining in the installed folder/drive. I assume that you are not an advanced user so get the help of an advanced user to remove the registry keys.

Try this-it has worked for me: Reboot to DOS. Go to the directory where the file is located. Type in DEL /P. This command will go down the list of files in the directory and ask you if you want to delete them, one by one using Y/N. Type in N for the ones you want to keep, Y for the ones you want to get rid. Of.
