    Software License Agreements
I don't generally read software license agreements. I know, I should... but that's another subject :)

What is the norm nowadays for how many computers you can install it on? Is it still just one? Knowing how many people have a PC and a laptop, I'm wondering if the norm is now 2?

Of course I know WinXP is a one computer only thing, but what about other stuff from MS, Adobe/Macromedia, etc.

Is there such thing as a "Norm" or to they vary greatly?

With the exception of OSes, the general norm is 2 PCs (home/work or desktop/laptop) under the understanding that only one will be used at the same time.

Some titles, though, are expanding with the advent of multi-PC homes. For example, I have seen A/V programs sold with a 3 user license. Also the Academic version of Office has a 3 user license.
