    Kodak Easy Share
In my work, I have to insert pictures taken with a digital camera and forwarded to me as an attachment, into a Word document. They also have to be resized to a height of 3.15. The pics are clear until I resize them, then they go blurry. Is there a way to enlarge pictures without this blurriness?

Can you resize them in your photo editer before importing into Word?

I tried that but when I resize to 3.15 in EasyShare, copy and paste into the document, the size is not 3.15, it's smaller according to the format box in Word.

Ask her to resend the pictures as jpegs. Inserting anything into Word severely cripples the receiver from doing anything with them.

The pics were sent to me as jpegs. It's just resizing them to the required dimensions that makes them blurry. I tried also using HP Photo Explosion with the same results.

I think they need to be resized before being converted to jpegs.

Emland is on the right track. I misunderstood the question, sorry. Word will do a very poor job of keeping the integrity of the pictures when you use the 'handles' to resize them in a document. Best to find the size you need and resize them in a proper image editor then insert the pics.
