To remove virusprotectpro virus, you need to down load Superantispyware.com, its free online, it will remove the 2 flashing icons on your bottom task bar which cause a lot of unwanted pop ups.
Then you will need to down load another free anti spyware software best online is the AVG 7.5 antispyware( which I removed my doctor norton and replace with this), it will scan your entire system and it will get rid of the stupid virusprotectpro for good.
Believe me! It took me a week to got rid of the virus.. but thanks to AVG 7.5 and superantispyware I finally got my system back to normal.. I did all the manual instructions on this page, but it didn't get rid of the virus, until I found these 2 anti spyware mentioned above.. it killed the virus for life.. No more pop ups, and flashing icons, changing your main webpage, and open multiple pages when you open new webpage. I know how you feel, this virus is very annoying.
