Microsoft XP HOME Edition and MICROSOFT XP
    Hi,

I want to know how I can delete one of it so that I am able to use one properly.

When I was re-installing XP home edition, I couldn't delete the partition (C) which contained another XP.

Now I have two and thus a little bit confused.

Can anyone help me with providing some information on that?

    Thanks a lot in anticipation.

Yes you can delete one and the other will work fine, but make sure you delete the correct Windows and Program Files folders. You might be able to delete most of it from the running Windows. However, some files would not be deleted and you have to use special software to do that. Such softwares could be ERD Commander, Acronis Bootable Cd All In One, or Hirens Bootable CD V8.5. I'd personally recommend ERD Commander. Although, I've used others too.

Note that these programs require CDs to be burnt. I'm assuming you know how to boot from CDs. There will be one folder that you won't be able to delete, unless you boot from a totally another Hard Drive. It's C:\WINDOWS\system32\config. However, you can try to delete it using Unlocker after you've deleted one of your windowses.

I hope this will help answer your question. If I were you, I would delete boot of them (without formating or with formating) and install a fresh one. Using ERD Commander or one of those softwares, you can delete, Fix, Restore, and repare windows and also reset Administrator password, specially with ERD. You can get these softwares from (katz dot ws) or (phazeddl dot com). Search for Bootable.

    Peace be with you.

It also work fine when you install both of it on the other Drives.
