    Copy.exe missing
    Hi,
    I had a trojan removed from my system recently along with copy.exe file.
    I cannot open the drives as it shows the error copy.exe file not found.. what do I do.. I cannot re-install the os also.

    Why can't you reinstall? What version of Windows?

    Backup your regedit then do the following...


    Start >> run >> past ---> regedit

    Open this key with regedit:

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\MountP oints2\

    Delete anything will look like this ---> (eg. {6f745f47-6814-11db-940b-00138f7c0a44} )
    U will find it under the mountpoints
    Leave the drivers letters only in the list
