    Will linux survive or not ?
    Hi,

    I have xp and linux dualboot . The thing what I have to know is. If I overwrite 2003 server in xp , will the linux show me the dualboot option or not . Kindly help me

    Why don't you partition the hard drive and load each OS on each partition?

    If it is dual booting, you likely have grub or lilo in the MBR of the hard drive, or some other boot loaded.

    In any event the disk is partitiioned, so load 2K3 into the windows partition and you should be OK.

    Depending on the boot loader if there is a problem, you may need to re-install the bootloaded. If it is lilo/grub, that simply means booting from the linux rescue disk and re-initializing lilo/grub
