    Is it possible to exchange 1000 Turkmenistani manat bill from the year 2005?
    I am planning to order this turkmenistan 1000 bill from the year 2005.

    Actually this is the old bill, replaced in 2009 by the new Turkmenistan money at an exchange rate of one new manat worth 5000 old ones. So a 1000 manat note is only .20 of a one manat note today.

    next it appears that the exchange rate is 10,000 TMT to one US dollar.

    so if this was a new bill from 2009, it would be worth about 10 cents
    a older bill just a few cents.

    it may have a higher value as a collector item.
