    Hello j:

It depends on what you consider a gang... Do you think the cops are a gang? I do.

    Calm done.
Others are simply responding to your own question, which now appears to be utterly pointless and selfserving.

Calling yourself a 'family' does not keep it from being involved in illegal activities. Charles Manson called his followers a 'family'. The Mob is made up of 'families'. Many 'gangs' see themselves as 'families'.

Is it a 'gang'? Not necessarily. Does it have problem 'members' (or want-to-be members)? Sure, nearly every family does.

'Having each others back' can be a positive point or negative depending on the situation. If you define 'having each others back' as standing up for friends and family, it can be a positive. If you define 'having each others back' as stealing or committing other crimes, then it is a negative.

Do you try to be positive influence or a negative one?

Sounds like a bunch of people that don't have jobs or lives to otherwise occupy themselves with to me.

Some words may come to mind... but "gang" isn't one of them.

As mellow as the Deadheads were... there was still plenty of crime happening. And no way is this crowd any more laid back or easy going than that bunch.

After all the responses, why did you ask if juggalo is a gang, if you already knew the answer?

Juggalos are mindless twits that worship two rappers... They idolize every word that is spoken and even try and dress up like them.

Its not a gang... more like a half@$$ed cult.

    Its retarded..

I'm thinking OP is on a mission to dispel supposed rumors about his family.

Don't worry, Juggalo, most of us just go through our normal lives not thinking about Juggalos as a gang or anything else. And if people (or at least I) happen to think anything of them, "gang" isn't the first word that comes to mind...

    Carry on!

Yeah... not a gang... but a group of "Rectal openings" (the actual word is obvious and would have been censored) that haven't figured out lifes priorities yet. If they actually had real jobs... and real responsibilities... they wouldn't have time for such nonsense.

I abhor stupidity... and I find that sort of thing monumentally stupid.

And I apply that to any bunch that borders on cult whorsip of any group, team or individual outside of a recognised religion.

Skylude, I find it interesting that you posted in the comments feature. Does that mean you don't have enough nerve to post in the reply feature and get real answers to your question. Smoothie is entitled to his opinion, same as you are. So post in the reply feature and come out of your closet and see what kind of answers you get to your comment.

To be honest I can't fault new users from getting that wrong, it's mostly the fault of the site redesign, that's why I never use the new skins.

When you get some more maturity under your belt... and you will as do most people. You are going to understand how dumb that sort of thing really is. You are too young to understand it just yet. But look at it this way... how many of these "fanatics" have enough saved to make it even a few weeks without a paycheck.. (without having to crash at someone else's place).. or can put everything they own in the back of a pickup truck? Most of them... right? Think about that for a while.

I have always felt that way about any sort of groupies... And there are certain types of music that don't have staying power or appeal only to a very small select group of people. This is one of those.

And people that waste large portions of their lives like this for a dumb group are going to wake up one day wishing they had done something productive instead... and you will never get that time back.

I can make that sort of comment because I'm old enough to have seen it, not just once but several times. I had the common sense to know better, but some of my friends over the years didn't.

I listen to music... I enjoy listening to certain music. I think certain groups have real talent, and have proven real staying power as well. And there are a LOT on no tallent groups with no real appeal or enough talent to have any staying power outside of a small circle.

But none of them are deserving of, or get, what equals Idol Worship. You go to church for that, everyone else is mortal and merely human.

That applies to Political fugures, Sports Figures... and Hollywood as well.

Animosity? Such a strong emotion! Doubtful that anyone would waste such emotion on a bunch of groupies.

Annoyed? Empathetic? Probably-in the sense that we feel sorry for Juggalos that they're wasting their lives on something that really won't allow them to grow as individuals and fulfill their potential. It's always sad to see such waste.

Animosity... that's what one feels toward their siblings when they are being favored by the parents :)

From my understanding a Juggalo is simply a fan of ICP. I do not see how being a fan of any type of musical group can get you labeled with

... how many of these "fanatics" have enough saved to make it even a few weeks without a paycheck.. (without having to crash at someone else's place).. or can put everything they own in the back of a pickup truck? Most of them... right?
I am not sure if you took the definition of a Juggalo to be a "fanatic" of ICP or not but that is not always the case, it can be someone who simply listens to their music.

I am personally not a fan of ICP but I can still avoid the above stereotype that has been given to them. I just find it unfair which is my opinion.

I'm looking for information on crimes associated with "Juggalos" (fans of the band ICP). A few areas have classified this group as a gang although they don't really fit the definition and seem to be very disorganized. I have found several articles on seemingly random crimes attributed to a Juggalo,...
