As for proof that I did indeed stand up for you, sadly the thread that had that post has been deleted, so I cannot access it. My post was there, believe that, don't, I really can't do more than that.

There are forums here I don't go too, because I know nothing about . The great thing about AMHD is we disagree with each other, but we are still like family. I see you are a college student and you could add a lot here if you stay in the forums you know about. I did make a remark about you and you know what I'm speaking of. I was upset because of the information you gave. I shouldn't have said it.

If you decide to stay ,just go to the forums you know about.

When people tried to point out that Banana's posts were not within keeping of what we do here, he/she got upset, lashed out, and was not at all pleasant about it.

This really is a case of someone not being able to see the forest for the trees.

I didn't really want to start this thread, but the other one was being hijacked (sadly I participated, as did others, because Banana couldn't or wouldn't let it go) and I felt that Banana's issues would be better handled on a different thread.

Things were said that shouldn't have been, but, in defense of everyone involved, myself included, the attack did not start from us. If Banana feels that he/she has a right to defend him/herself, well, so does every other human being on this site. I do not take kindly to rudeness, condescending posts, but even then, many of us tried (kindly) to let Banana know that it wasn't okay. Our posts were met with more rudeness, more condescension. That's not okay.

Banana, many people did try to let you know that your attitude, the way you handle posts, was not within keeping of how things are done on this site. Instead of taking that advice, you lashed out. You claim that you were only defending yourself, but the truth is, we were put on defense long before you. Every attempt to make you see reason, to understand the rules, was met with hostility. Well, we too are human, so what do you expect?

And you are the proof that I did tell you that what you said was not appropriate. Sadly that thread is gone and Banana claims not to know that I did in fact stand up for him, even though you and I are friends.

Kit, you're human. What you said wasn't right, which I told you, and you accepted my "scolding" with grace, because you knew that what you said wasn't okay. But, after that, you moved on, you didn't hold a grudge, not to Banana, and not to me. That's what makes you a valued member of this site.

Banana however won't let that comment go, and can't seem to accept that it's his/her posts that are the problem, not the other members.

I saw your post, Alty, in which you scolded Kit for her comment to Banana. And Kit graciously apologized.

I've been reading these threads. Banana has a good writing style and analytical mind, so would like him/her to stay on the site. We've all (or at least most of most of us) have had to learn how to agree/disagree according to the ToS and be able to not take someone's differing with us as a personal attack.

I think what bothered me the most is you (banana) being so sarcastic to some of the law experts and the mods who are trained in their field.

You can't do that and expect them or any of the experts and members here to not respond.

Sadly it doesn't seem that Banana is willing to accept that apology, apologize for his part in all of this, and move on.

That's what needs to happen if he is going to continue here.

I also agree with WG. If Banana can learn to treat people with respect, stop being condescending and rude to the members here, I think he would be an asset to the site. But, if he continues the way he is, I'd rather see him go. He's causing too much trouble as it is right now.

I made so many mistakes when I joined and I left several times. I left because I felt I was right about everything. I wasn't and I learned , what you don't know ,don't respond too.;)

We all make mistakes. It takes a big person to admit when he/she is wrong. Been there, done that.

It seems that Banana doesn't want to accept his part in all of this, and the fact is, his part is what started the whole thing. If he hadn't been so rude it would have never escalated to this.

I won't post here any more. If Banana wants to come back and talk, I think we're all more than willing to do that, but I won't put my neck out for him again.

Banana, if you want examples of what we're talking about, read your posts, there aren't that many, so it's not hard to go through them. Read them with an open mind, from our point of view, maybe then you'll understand why you angered a lot of people on this site. Maybe then you can understand that you're the problem, and if you want to stay here we need to find a solution.

Unfortunately more than one thread had to be closed because of this person's attitude. It's not just that one thread.

There was no reasoning on the adoption thread - the law was wrong, the Experts were wrong, it was a conspiracy.

So the thread was closed and the OP will never have an answer.

And that's why Banana's attitude has to change.

I don't really care if he doesn't like us, whatever, no big deal. But, when he goes onto a thread, offers bad advice, and then hijacks the thread, starts fighting with people, that's not helpful to the OP.

The reason most of us are here is to help people and to give them the most accurate advice we can. The legal boards are especially sensitive, because they're not opinion based, they are fact based. If someone doesn't know the facts but insists on posting anyway, it's up to the experts to correct that advice because the OP needs to know that that particular advice isn't accurate.

It's not a vendetta against Banana, it's not a conspiracy. He was wrong, the Experts tried to point that out, he didn't like it, and then he went around being rude and condescending to others.

It's not acceptable behavior, not here, not in the real world, not anywhere. It's best that Banana learn this now before he goes out into that real world and makes the same mistakes he made here.

And I have a problem with another member who gives fear mongering advice to teens on the medical boards. It's out there, it's all in how we deal with it.

Agreed it's not acceptable. Whether AMHD can teach people lessons on how to deal with the real world is open for debate.

I agree with you in theory; however, I really don't think anything that is said here to a person who is so hypersensitive is going to change their behavior in the real world.

Kitkat apologized and apologized - the thread was pulled. Your reply made no sense because of the pulled posts and BP kept on posting, repeating what Kitkat said (which Kitkat already said was out of line and for which she apologized), in order to keep things going.

Maybe the "secret" is for the mods to step in sooner - but I doubt anyone has time for that. When FrChuck was personally attacked I would have suspended BP but that's just how I feel on that subject.

I was accused of calling BP ignorant (by BP) when I said no such thing and she was legally and factually incorrect. I said she was wrong; I never said she was ignorant.
