Are there forms available for filing motions with a civil court.
I sold a residential property in 2005 and at settlement I was asked escrow $2,000 to ensure several provisions of the settlement were met.

All escrow requuirements were meet by the seller following settlement and seller requested the return of the escrow funds.

The settlement agreements required the signed release of the escrow funds from both the seller and the purchaser.

The purchaser would not sign the releases of the escrow funds.

The escrow agent filed a Bill of Interpleader with the Circuit Court of Fairfax County, 1)eeking to be removed from the dispute, 2)asking the court to compel the defendants to provide written statements indicating their interests and supporting their claims, and 3) allowing the escrow agent and plaintiff to be reimbursed for legal costs.

On November 21, 2008 the court addressed the esrow agents request to be removed from the case and his request for legal costs.

The Court did not address the disbursement of the remaining escrow funds.

    QUESTION:

I am the seller of the property that escrowed the funds and believe that I need to file a motion with the court seeking a decision on the disposition of the remaining escrowed funds and seeking reimbursement of legal expenses incurred by the escrow agent (attorney's fees were expressly authorized in the property sales contract in the event of a dispute).

Is there a simplified form available somewhere to file such a motion?

    Thanks,

    Hello Fred:

No. If there was a form for everything, we could just do away with lawyers.
