Re car accident reporting vs small claims
How long after an accident can you still report it? I was parking on a
Narrow street. No one was coming, all traffic stopped when the first
Car decided to go around me and scraped my car so bad the headlights
Ended up on the street. I called the police. The man apologized and
Told me it was his fault. Then turned around and told the police I
    Didn't have my signal on.
Anyway, I paid about $200 for the headlight to go back in but the
Scratches are deep. At first I wasn't going to report it to the ins co
Now it may be too late.. if it is, can I sue him for what I spent in
    Small claims court?

Was the police report done ? If so that is the main issue, the amount of time to report to company is specific to your policy and/or the state regulations

***** it is not a good idea to start new threads, I am sure this references a old thread but no time frames are given here as to how long this is going on, it should have course be done within a few days after accident. How long has it been?

I'd report it to his insurance company and let them tell you what the time frame is. Of course you can always sue in Small Claims and prove your case. It sounds like it's your word against his.

    Yes, you can still sue.
