OK I understand what your saying, but the problem there is I don't have the money to do that. If I did I would. Lol.

OK? You must not understand what I said I don't have and probably won't be able to get the money for that to be done. So what I'm asking is, is there any other ways?

Call or visit your local public library. Someone at the reference desk will be glad to listen to your question and give you ideas on how to begin to look for her (for free).

You went to the library and got told she has to look for you? What library is this? I will call them and give them a piece of my mind!

There is a book about how to find anyone anywhere. I will find out the title and post it here. It has tons of search information in it.

Just a note of caution: Keep in mind that this girl is nineteen, and doesn't know you from Adam. You may be genetically related, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you will like each other when/if you meet. Just look around you at people who are raised with their siblings and see the kind of relationships that they have.

Also, the baby's name may have been changed by her adoptive parents.

Have you tried finding her in the phone book or white pages yet?

I was adopted when I was 6 and have been trying to find my siblings as well... in most states all the people involved must be at least 18... since she is then you need to go to department of human services in the state that she was born in... the town its self should have an office... tell them all of the imformation that you know. They may tell you that you ave to wait until she somes in and inquires about you (unfortantly that may never happen) if they however decide to help keep in mind that she may not have been told about you. She may not even know that she was adopted. Her name might be changed as well. I wish you the best of luck finding your sister.

It is a lot harder than looking on myspace or Facebook. There are so many different factors that link into it all... name changes, where they live, a lot can change after a child is adopted. If it was as easy as 1 2 3 then I would already be talking to my 4 siblings that I haven't seen since I was 2
