    Legal dating
    Im 16 turning 17 in less then a month and I'm dating a 20 year old, is it legal? Please help me figure it out

    What do your parents say? If they approve then there is no problem. There are no laws that govern dating.

    However, there are laws about parental interference. So if your parents disapprove and say no, then he can get in trouble.

    And depending on where you live any sexual activity between you two could could get him in jail.

    Law deals with having sex, not dating.

    But you can date as long as your parents or guardians allow it. As a minor you will need parents permission
