    Landlord & Tenant lease issue
Current Mobile home tenant has a signed lease with the Mobile Home park. This tenant wants to add a live in partner to the lease. The Live in partner has DUI issues and has caused one disturbance in the park cause his arrest and release. Can the Landlord prevent this Current tenant from having this live in partner become a co-lease holder based on the fact they aren't married? Also can it be prevented relating to his disturbance incident?

Depends on the rules of the park. Most likely they cannot discriminate.

    Hello b:

While I agree with my friend, Scott, that they can't discriminate, it isn't a blanket condemnation of discrimination. True, you can't discriminate due to race, ethnicity, gender and in some places, sexual preference, but a guy with a DUI, isn't a member of any protected class.
