    A letter? To the Court? You would set out the reason(s) you DIDN'T respond to the papers you received from the Court. Some Courts also require that you outline the defense you plan to use when the matter is rescheduled.

    Hello n:

    It's SIMPLE. Tell the judge WHY he should set aside the judgment. You can do it by HAND, if you must. Send it by certified mail, and send a copy to the other lawyer.
