    How long after death of an employee can I sue the employer.
    My father was electricuted almost 3 year ago, he was operating a machine, he worked alone at night, he never came home, they still cannot tell us whether he passed away that day or the previous night.

    Hopefully the SOL has not expired on filing a lawsuit for your family due to his death. Seek legal advice immediately and get a lawsuit going ASAP!!

    First of course you have to prove some fault, so what happened, to cause the death.

    But the time frame is close if not already passed.
