How can I locate my trust without the name on it
I cannot find or remember the name on the trust I've inherited. Its been open since 2008 and I've never received payments. Can I find it using my name or possibly my children's names? I need to locate it soon so my children can get there inheritance when I die.

Thanks for your answer I know the lawyer who probated the will he has a copy of it. The stickler is that when we probated it my husband was the ont to deal with the lawyers. Soon after that we separated with no intention of divorce. The lawyers told me they could not help me without albert in person or notorized authorization from him. Unfortunately I cannot locate him... and I have really tried. Just kind of stumped on where to go from here. Ive been researching it for a month now still to no avail but like you said with faith all things are possible!

Revocable Trust (Grantor) Trust w/3rd party trustee [ 2 Answers ]

It was my understanding that if a grantor set up a revocable trust and a third party (let's say a bank) was named as trustee, the trustee was required to file a Form 1041. I am unable to locate any IRC or other guidance that would confirm or deny this. Please help. Thank you. Diana
