    How can he do this
We are a distributor of auto detail supplies that we buy from a salesman in Pa. we have been doing business with him for 20 years but in the last year we have fallen behind on owing him some money but he continues to sell to us, and we pay him a fair amount every month on what we owe him. Now he is threatening to sue us or take some legal steps against us,like putting a lien against our business or property. We never stopped paying him any money each month, but now he wants more and more often. There is no contract, just a verbal business relationship with him. Can he really take legal action, even if we agree to pay him something every month on the bill.

    Hello Red:

Yes, he can sue you. IF you never had a credit agreement with him, as soon as you fell behind, he could have sued you.
