How can I find out if I have a lawsuit case or not
Today i ordered a Chicken Club Sandwhich from McDonalds and found a inch long solid bone in it. I found it before any damage was done to me. Would this be a possible lawsuit?

Did you point this out to them and what did they say / do about it? Since there was no harm done its unlikely that anything would come of it.

How much money you have to waste?
You can sue almost anyone... winning is something else.
It's a bone... chickens have bones... machines make the nuggets... people don't touch and squeese every nugget to make sure there isn't a bone...
Its not like it was a finger... a chunk of glass or a non-chicken product.
Its going to look like someone trying to get a buck for something petty. Odds of winning would be tiny.
A free meal might be expeted if you brought this to their attention and was nice about it...

I did not go into the mcdonalds that I got the food from, I did call a corporate office and told them about my concerns of how the bone could have done mass damage to me. They said it was a rare call that this doesn't happen that often and that there were are pre safety checks done every morning.

I understand that it was not a foreign matter in my food. It was a bone. Its not a nuggeet it was a Chicken patty. Im sure machines make them as well. I am trying to get a buck for something petty. I've noticed that Mcdonalds have sued companies before for petty stuff as well. Like similar named companies. I was just wondering why couldn't Mcdonalds be held accountable for their safety inspections.

No safety inspection is going to either find or cite a food vendor for a chicken bone in a chicken patty. Not even for the packing plant. Now like was mentioned... non-food contamination.. thats not the same thing. Bones can be considered food as they can be ground up and used... and in some cases are...
Chances of winning are probibly lower than getting hit by an astroid...
Lawyers cost money... they have a lot... you don't. A petty suit might even backfire if they bring a frivolous lawsuit charge against you... which they would have a much better chance of winning.

Understandable. Love your references about the astroid. Im not trying to go into a law suit unless it is 100% certain. Thank you for the information and putting it into perspective. I do however think that safety inspections should be conducted diffrently to prevent any unwanted items being processed or altered from origination. Thanks again

Nothing is perfect. If safety inspections were made more stringent, what do you think would happen? The price of the sandwiches would go up.
If you sue, what do you think happens? The price of the sandwiches go up to cover product liability?
Sorry, no payday for you.

As the old saying goes: "No harm, no foul." Or, in this case, No harm [even if there was a bone in the] fowl.
