    Garnishing Bank Account
    Can a debt collector or credit card company garnish my business bank Account for unsecured credit card debts if the Bank Account is only a DBA and the credit card debts is in my personal name?

    Hello carlo:

    Yup. A DBA is YOU doing business with some other name. It's still YOU.

    If, on the other hand, you had incorporated your business, then your business would be a distinct entity, separate from you. Funds in an account like that would be safe.
