    Emergency emancipation
    I am 16.I am pregnant,I am 8months pregnant.I haven't lived with my mom since June 08.she left me and my two younger sisters at my step dads house to go live with her boyfriend. After two months me and my boyfriend moved in with my step mom and dad.then we moved to his grandmothers house.my mom has not been taking care of me for a real long time.I have been living with my boyfriend and his family since sept. 08.now my mom is trying to throw my boyfriend in jail and is now trying to control my whole life.I can not do anything or she well call the cops and tell them that I'm a runaway.two nights ago my mom said I can spend the day with my boyfriend.then hours later called the cops and the cops picked me up.she only wonts my baby.and I need help on what I should do!

    You can only be emancipated in most States if you are self supporting and it appears you are not. She also can't just take your baby.

    She CAN, depending on your age when you got pregnant, have your boyfriend arrested for having sex with you.

    You need an adult to take charge here - your boyfriend's mother or father, Grandmother, your stepfather, someone who can consult with an Attorney and find out what the options are.

    What State are you in? It will make a difference.
