Dismissed chapter 13 more than once
Can I file chapter 13 again, after two being dismissed from ch 13 twice? The first time I lost my job and the 2nd time I couldn't afford the monthly payment due to divorce. I am finally at a point and have been stable for almost a year on my job.

Yes, unless the judge dismissed it with a order that you had to wait a certain time frame. But yes normally since you did not follow though with it before, you can still file.

    Hi Tracy,
I agree with the previous answers. You can refile again, absent an order from the judge banning you from filing for a period. The one thing you have to keep in mind is that the Automatic Stay (the reason yo file for bankruptcy) will terminate within 30 days, absent a request from you for an extension from the court.

This does not constitute legal advice and no attorney-client relationship is created through this correspondence.

    Hope this helps!
