    Car warranty
I brought a car from a dealer on 22/01/11. It broke down on me two weeks ago and has been at the garage since. The repairs have been done and at the cost of £420.00 but my 3 months warranty is due to expire on the 22/04/11. The company has bust and been taken over by another. They need details from the dealer for the claim to be processed but I am having trouble getting in contact with him. He hasn't been helpful at all and I need my car as I have two children and no income to pay for the repairs. Is the dealer liable for the cost of the repairs and how can I get the information the warrantly company needs if the dealer won't help me by giving me the necessary information. As I have only ha the car for less than 3 months am I entitled to a exchange or refund? I would be grateful for an answer as I only have ten days to get this sorted before the time to claim has run out.
