    Calif probate
My father died in 2006. Nothing has been filed in the courts for the reason this is taking so long as well as the inventory has not been filed. How do I ask the calif probate court to have a status report filed. I was told by the attorny of my sister that is the PR I cannot contact her regarding the estate even though I am an heir or I will be sued for harassment.

You petition the Court for an accounting, an explanation, speedy resolution - at least that's how it works in NY.

Your sister will sue you for harassment if you ask about your father's Will? Yikes!
