    Sleep number mattress
I am considering getting a new mattress. I now have a waterbed, I was thinking of a Serta perfect sleeper or a Tempur-pedic, but have heard that the sleep number mattress is the way to go. Do anyone have any pro and cons on these.

I would not trade you anything for my tempur pedic personally.

I have back problems and since we got ours my back feels a lot better, I sleep better and so on. ( they should pay me for this add)

I am sure the others are great to, but for me and my snoring, give me the tempurpedic

My sister-in-law went from a waterbed to a sleep number and her and her husband have never slept any better!!

They each get the firmness or softness they desire!!

Thanks to both of you for your reply. That's one for the Tempur-pedic and one for the sleep number bed. One question on the Tempur-pedic mattress, is it hard for the sheet to slid over the mattress in making it up? It seems like the foam would make it difficult to make up. Again thanks for the response.

I have both; a sleep number and a tempur-pedic! My husband and I bought the sleep number matteress about 3 yrs ago and I hated it. My husband loved it, but I slept on the couch 99% of the time. I could never find the right number for me and found myself spending most of the night playing with the remote. Ours was "double bladdered" queen bed so we could both adjust to our own liking, but it didn't help me. But I will tell you NOT to get one with a single bladder, because I TRIED to "sleep" on one of those at a hotel we stayed at and it was MISERABLE! But I do know a few people that Love the sleep number bed, but I would not recommend it!

The tempur-pedic matteress is a life saver to me! My husband and I actually sleep in the same bed and both of us have a wonderful full night sleep. I would not choose any other matteress over this one! It doesn't matter which posistion I lay down in, it is comfortable. There is no remote to play with or finding the "right number," it is just perfect! One con to the tempur-pedic I will have to say is if you sit on the edge of the matteress it tends to compress down which can make you slide off it you sit too close to the edge, but that is it. And that is really not a big deal; just make sure you don't sit on the very edge and it is all too good!

Good Luck on your matteress search! I hope I was of some help?

And as far as the sheets fitting over the edge; my tempur-pedic bed is actually much MUCH easier to make than the sleep number!
