Cantilever Umbrella - Not exactly "broken"
I have a different problem. The rope probably needs replacement anyway, but the issue at the moment is the umbrella has come loose from the cap at the end of the cantilever arm. The umbrella hangs about four inches from the cap, but if I don't keep it tied at the bottom, it opens and spreads out, and slides down the rope until it reaches the end of the rope or lands on a table below. Also, there is a hole in the sleeve where the umbrella cap apparently is secured by a pin,but I don't see any evidence of a pin.
Has anyone seen this kind of situation? Suggestions? |
