    Overweight hair.
    I am 17 years old, really overweight (trying to lose weight and its working) and I have facial hair growing.
    Could it be my weight that is causing the hair to grow?
    If I lose the weight will the hair go away?

    Hi Phoenix, firstly... WELL DONE ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS KEEP IT UP.

    Facial hair has nothing to do with the weight of your body,but probably more to do with your age and hormones.

    When you say facial hair, are we talking a little bit of very fair, almost velvety covering of the face, seen better if you look at yourself in the mirror from an angle, if this is the case then everyone has that.

    If your saying maybe dark under the nose tache kind of thing, then I would visit your doctor who I'm sure will give you a coarse of treatment, maybe to regulate your hormones, in the teenage years sometimes this can happen.

    Have you been on any medication recently that may have this as a side effect?

    MY advice would be to visit your doctor who I'm sure has seen your problem many times they will know exactly how to treat it, if necessary, so don't worry..
